Sherman Hill Model Railroad Club

Cheyenne, Wyoming

on the flanks of the hill

What's happening at the club?

Had the Christmas Parade show with the 4 X 8 three scale layout and three days at the Festival of Trees with the 4 X 8 and five of the modules.
We used the time there to get the modules working and debugged. Some wiring problems showed up and a lot of VERY dirty track. All in all it was  well worth the time just to see something run back and forth. We had quite a few inquiries about the club as well. Hopefully we will see some new members soon.

December meeting we worked on the yard throat and 2 other modules repairing problems that turned up during the operation at the Festival of Trees the week before. We will need to have many more special sessions to get ready for the Historical Society Convention this summer. We need to construct another turnaround loop, apply lots of scenery to all modules, and get a control system in place to be able to have a running layout that doesn't take a lot of people to operate. Anyone with time to work, call Lynn Nystrom and arrange to get into the Roundhouse.

Next regular meeting will be January 20th at the roundhouse. Dues are due.
